This Spring, we're offering two pilot projects for both home educating and local families.

Please read below for more details

educate to liberate: build + dream

2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month (starting 10 march)

Goldsmiths Community Centre

1pm - 3pm (drop off)

ages 5+

What is it?

Educate to Liberate is a 7-week creative programme that supports children in exploring social justice issues through art-making, cultural knowledge and collective imagination.

The journey moves families from connection, to awareness, to hope, to voice, and finally to action. We will discover new analogue skills together such as sculpting, architectural design and print.

Families are welcome to have lunch and explore the space from 1pm. Drop-off workshops begin from 1.15-3pm. Medical and emergency details will be required in advance.

Who's it for?

This programme is primarily for BIPOC + allied families who are home educating with children aged 5+

How do I book?

The event link will be available on this page soon to book your child/children's space.

Is there a cost?

Yes. For the first time at Philo, there will be a cost per session to cover the resources and space to enable us to sustainably run the programme. This pilot is exploring different funding models but if cost is a barrier to you currently, please contact us at hello@philo.org.uk and we may be able to provide alternative options.
